He sure cleans up nice, doesn't he?!

Troy & Brock

Troy & the father of the bride, Mr. Ken

We had a wonderful day on Friday! Troy was in his first wedding party! We are friends with a wonderful family here in Ephraim, the Butterfields. Their daughter, Lindy married her longtime boyfriend, Kyle (who Kevin grew up with in Mt. Pleasant) and they asked Troy to be their ring barrier. It was a beautiful day and Troy preformed perfectly! His buddy, Brock, (Lindy's adopted little brother) is Troy's best friend so he was happy to be by his side all day! The Butterfields have always treated us like family so it was fun to help celebrate the day with them!

Happy Anniversary!

You probably wonder, "Who's anniversary is it in this picture?" Well, it's Diet Coke's 25th Anniversary! We were taking the pictures the other day and Troy would not put down the "almost empty" can of DC! He loves to come up behind me and finish the last few drops of a Diet Coke that I left empty. He think's they come like that! So "Happy Birthday" Diet Coke, our family would not be the same without you! Well actually, Mom would just be tired & cranky without it!

My mom came to town and reminded me of the JumperRoo that we bought when Troy was a baby. Colt was now old enough for it so we broke it out and he LOVES it! It has already improved his leg strength and he is happy to just sit and observe everything that's going on around him, usually the craziness that his big bro is making!

The Lost Photos

Just some cute pics I found on my camera earlier today. Troy must have found my camera and somehow figured out how to take pictures! He's always investigating something!

Meet Sabrina!

Today was such a wonderful day! We woke up at 7am to a phone call from Kristin that Sabrina was finally here! Kristin was SO excited and couldn't wait for us to meet him and especially for Troy to meet his new cousin. Troy was super excited to go to the hospital to meet "Baby Brina". (You have to hear how he says her name in his sweet little voice!) She really is adorable! Kristin and Darren are just so happy and that is so fun to see! Troy was excited to hold his new cousin and was much more interested in Sabrina at the hospital than he was with Colt when he w

as born. We are so excited to have a healthy baby and mommy!

What a kid!

After looking at all of these pictures of Colt on this blog of him happy and smiling, you would think that how is he normally is---quite the opposite! He is not a very happy kid most of the time and he kinda makes my life a little crazy and VERY noisy. But I like to see these pics to remind me that every once in a blue moon, the kid is happy! Hopefully he will grow out of this stage very soon!

Manti Pagent

For the first time since I was 12, I actually sat through the entire Manti Pagent this year! We took the boys over for dinner and by the time the show started at 9:30pm, Colt had been out for a few hours and Troy quickly fell asleep on Kev's lap. So we enjoyed a nice evening in peace and quiet! After looking at the picture I took of the temple just before the show started, I remember the feelings I had when I saw the temple for the first time when I was 12. I swore I would get married there someday and I am so happy that I did! I recently told Kev that when I died, I wanted to be buried in the cemetery at the bottom of the temple grounds. Who wouldn't want that view :)

My pretty little yard :)

These pictures are basically for my Mom who helped me with my yard this spring! I had to show her the progress. I never knew how much work it is to take care of a yard!

Month in Review :)

Well my dad has been very good at nagging me lately to update the blog with pictures of the boys so here you go Daddy! Happy Fathers Day! This is our month in review :)

Colt's new seat called the "Bumbo" (created in South Africa) He hates spending time on his tummy so this seat is supposed to improve his back and neck strength, reccomended by our pediatricain...doesn't he look cute in it!!!

Looking cute on Mother's Day! My friend Aubrey and her mom, Kim gave him this outfit!

Me and my boys on Mothers Day before Church. Kev built me the black bench that we are sitting on for my gift. I had been looking forever for the perfect bench for my front porch and could never find one. Kev built me this one and I LOVE it!!!

Troy in his OU beanie that Papa gave him when he was born! It finally fits him! :) Kev & Troy before a 4 Wheeler ride on the mountain.

We were so blessed to have Grandma Great (Kev's Grandma) make it through another serious surgery this month. The night before the surgery I was kicking myself that I didn't have any pictures of her and both boys together. So I made sure to get these as soon as she came home from the hospital. We NEED her to stick around as long as she can! We love her so much!

Meet Jack Madsen!

Yes, we finally gave in and got Troy a puppy!!! There has been a lot of talk of it in the last year and since our fence is getting put up this week, we decided to take the plunge! Jack is a 7 week old Pug puppy and he is lots of fun! I definetly feel like I have 3 kids now!!! I knew it would be a lot of work thought, especially the house training part. But I think we kinda have it under control now and we love the fun and attitude that he brings into our family!

Travelin' Boys

Why didn't someone warn me about how much LONGER it takes getting ANYWHERE with two kids!!! I had no idea! Just some pictures along the way of our process of getting out the door!

Just hanging out at home! Colt loves to sit up propped up on his Boppy pillow. He just sits and watches and listens to us. I wonder if he thinks we are crazy sometimes by the looks on his face!

Cookie & Boys!

It is so fun having my Mom here visiting! Troy just loves having Cookie here to play with. Colt loves having Cookie give him his bottle :) And I love having an extra set of hands around the house!
