The first night we got to California, we stayed in Laguna Niguel with one of my best friends from college, Aubrey Messick, and her family. (Yes, she is the one to blame for my accident breaking my back. Why didn't you stop me! JK!) We had a blast with her awesome family and even got to relax by their amazing pool! Someday I will have a backyard oasis in Southern California like the Messicks....oh yeah Erin, wake up! You are dreaming! Thank you Messicks for treating us like part of the family!

Tonight for our activity for FHE we viewed the Madsen blog. Looks like you guys had fun playing in the pool while we were away. My mom wants to go on your dream vacation at Disneyland too. We miss you guys already. Can't wait to see you again soon.
