Manti Pagent

For the first time since I was 12, I actually sat through the entire Manti Pagent this year! We took the boys over for dinner and by the time the show started at 9:30pm, Colt had been out for a few hours and Troy quickly fell asleep on Kev's lap. So we enjoyed a nice evening in peace and quiet! After looking at the picture I took of the temple just before the show started, I remember the feelings I had when I saw the temple for the first time when I was 12. I swore I would get married there someday and I am so happy that I did! I recently told Kev that when I died, I wanted to be buried in the cemetery at the bottom of the temple grounds. Who wouldn't want that view :)

My pretty little yard :)

These pictures are basically for my Mom who helped me with my yard this spring! I had to show her the progress. I never knew how much work it is to take care of a yard!

Month in Review :)

Well my dad has been very good at nagging me lately to update the blog with pictures of the boys so here you go Daddy! Happy Fathers Day! This is our month in review :)

Colt's new seat called the "Bumbo" (created in South Africa) He hates spending time on his tummy so this seat is supposed to improve his back and neck strength, reccomended by our pediatricain...doesn't he look cute in it!!!

Looking cute on Mother's Day! My friend Aubrey and her mom, Kim gave him this outfit!

Me and my boys on Mothers Day before Church. Kev built me the black bench that we are sitting on for my gift. I had been looking forever for the perfect bench for my front porch and could never find one. Kev built me this one and I LOVE it!!!

Troy in his OU beanie that Papa gave him when he was born! It finally fits him! :) Kev & Troy before a 4 Wheeler ride on the mountain.

We were so blessed to have Grandma Great (Kev's Grandma) make it through another serious surgery this month. The night before the surgery I was kicking myself that I didn't have any pictures of her and both boys together. So I made sure to get these as soon as she came home from the hospital. We NEED her to stick around as long as she can! We love her so much!

Meet Jack Madsen!

Yes, we finally gave in and got Troy a puppy!!! There has been a lot of talk of it in the last year and since our fence is getting put up this week, we decided to take the plunge! Jack is a 7 week old Pug puppy and he is lots of fun! I definetly feel like I have 3 kids now!!! I knew it would be a lot of work thought, especially the house training part. But I think we kinda have it under control now and we love the fun and attitude that he brings into our family!

Travelin' Boys

Why didn't someone warn me about how much LONGER it takes getting ANYWHERE with two kids!!! I had no idea! Just some pictures along the way of our process of getting out the door!

Just hanging out at home! Colt loves to sit up propped up on his Boppy pillow. He just sits and watches and listens to us. I wonder if he thinks we are crazy sometimes by the looks on his face!

Cookie & Boys!

It is so fun having my Mom here visiting! Troy just loves having Cookie here to play with. Colt loves having Cookie give him his bottle :) And I love having an extra set of hands around the house!

Viva Las Vegas!

We had a BLAST on our Vegas weekend! Kevin's parents just bought a condo there and we took advantage of it being empty this weekend. We took Troy and Colt down to the strip on Saturday to show them all of the fun things at the Casinos. These pictures should show how much else there is to do down there besides gamble! In addition to these pictures, we saw the Lion Habitat at the MGM, went to M&M World and Coca-Cola Factory, saw the talking statues at Caesar's & ate at the Cheesecake Factory. Troy was such a good sport being in his stroller allllllll day, but I think he had enough to see to keep him entertained!

Pete Rose signing autographs for $100- Guess that's what he has to do for money these days since his gambling addiction! Yikes!

We took this picture for Papa Rick & Grandpa Paul outside the Calaway Golf Store

Colt's Blessing Day

Kevin blessed Baby Colt at church on Easter Sunday. It was fun to have all of our family there for the holiday. We had a fun dinner and egg hunt after church with everybody.

Easter Fun

We had a great Easter with Colt here! Troy loved the Easter Egg Hunt at the city ball park. He loaded up on candy and didn't notice when I stole all the chocolate pieces in the car! As you can see, both Troy and Colt loved their baskets of goodies. Troy kept asking where the Easter Bunny lived and wasn't satisfied with my answer of "in the ground." He corrected me with, "No, under our road."

Twinners!

When I was getting Troy dressed last week, he asked me if he could be "twinners" with Colt for the day. After he had on his jeans and white polo shirt like Colt, he informed me that he needed a bib like Colt too. He wore it around all morning, till Colt had his off and then it was OK for Troy to take his off too!

My Chunk!

Here is my sweet boy today as he sat next to me while I was on the computer. I had to post a pic of his chunky little legs, though they are nothing in comparison of his older brothers legs at this age! Kev and I are going to pull out the video camera tonight and watch some video of Troy at this age! So fun!

Matching Boys!

Yep, I'm going to be one of those mean, mean mom's that dresses their kids in matching clothes! But aren't they so cute!
